Professional Land Surveyor
Owner – CEO

Richmond W. Krebs, Sr.

Rich was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and until recently making Denham Springs his primary home, was a life-long resident of Metairie, Louisiana.  His career in land surveying began at a young age, in June 1968, while working under the tutelage of his grandfather and father at J.J. Krebs & Sons, Inc.  Both his grandfather, Jack Krebs, Sr., and his father, John M. Krebs, along with Rich’s uncle, Jack Krebs, Jr., were the founding members of J.J. Krebs & Sons, Inc., a well-known engineering and land surveying firm in New Orleans.  It was during this period that Rich was taught all aspects of the land surveying business.

After the passing of his grandfather, Jack Krebs, Sr., in 1970, Rich continued to work with his father, John M. Krebs, at J.J. Krebs & Sons until he entered the United States Army in late 1972.  He was honorably discharged in October 1974 and immediately returned to work with his father.  Rich’s beloved father passed away very suddenly in 1977.

With the early, unexpected death of his father, Rich remained committed to fulfill his dream of establishing his own land surveying business and in August 1979, he struck out on his own, providing area land surveyors with technical and field support services.

In November 1997, Rich became licensed by the State of Louisiana as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and in May 1999, Mr. Krebs expanded his practice when he became a licensed Professional Land Surveyor for the State of Mississippi.  He is a member of Louisiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, and a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors Foundation.
